Events—
Futura Time Machine

We’re traveling across Portugal to collectively imagine possible futures at the intersection of sustainability, social justice, art & democracy. A crowd-sourced Time Machine popping up in Évora, Coimbra, Porto, and Lisbon.

A residency—
The Futura Fellowship

A fellowship exclusively for early-career Portuguese women to gain access to tools, training, networks, community, and mentorship to nurture their talent, confidence, and skills.

A publication—
The Lisbon Literary Review / A Revista Literária de Lisboa

The Lisbon Literary Review is a Lisbon-based publication featuring original poetry in Portuguese and English, along with essays and interviews in both languages, and artwork.

Futura is an interdisciplinary, intergenerational, international futura-thinking building in the heart of Lisbon, Portugal, a home and place of belonging for Futura’s growing, diverse community of Future Thinkers, Dreamers, & Builders. And you’re invited.

We’re under construction and scheduled to open in 2028 for fellowship residencies and public events.

Futura is participatory futures. In the spirit of participatory practice, how do you imagine our collective future?
