The Lisbon Literary Review is dedicated to celebrating the art of creative writing and the transformative power of translation, emphasizing poetry. Rooted in the cultural crossroads of Lisbon, we serve as a bridge between the English- and Portuguese-speaking literary worlds, fostering dialogue, discovery, and creative exchange. We champion voices from both sides of the Atlantic and Lusophone world, publishing original poetry and translations that illuminate the nuances of language, identity, and imagination. Our mission is to cultivate a vibrant, bilingual space where creative writers, especially poets and translators, and readers come together to explore the shared rhythms and resonances of two rich literary traditions.

A Revista Literária de Lisboa dedica-se a celebrar a arte da escrita criativa e o poder transformador da tradução, com ênfase na poesia. Enraizada na encruzilhada cultural de Lisboa, a revista serve de ponte entre os mundos literários de língua inglesa e portuguesa, promovendo o diálogo, a descoberta e o intercâmbio criativo. Defendemos vozes de ambos os lados do Atlântico e do mundo lusófono, publicando poesia original e traduções que iluminam as nuances da linguagem, da identidade e da imaginação. A nossa missão é cultivar um espaço vibrante e bilingue onde escritores criativos, especialmente poetas e tradutores, e leitores se reúnem para explorar os ritmos e ressonâncias comuns de duas ricas tradições literárias.
